After driving my S way to much in the winter last year due to my wife needing her car. I picked up a beater for those crappy days.
I really was planning on driving the S3 everyday but it's just to nice to drive 80 miles a day in any weather. I got a fantastic deal on this 2010 mini s.
Just in time too I have Jury duty soon in the city there was no way I was leaving my car in some shitty part of town at the courthouse.

how did you get the ladder up there?
do you have some sort of pulley and fulcrum system?

I just put a board across the two beams and slip it in. then I have a J hook that hangs down to hook one of the rungs.
It's just an extension ladder for working on the house/trees not a garage attic ladder. No real good place to store a 28' extension ladder :)

Thanks I had an 02 it had its issues but it was a blast. I had to hit the door panel on that thing to get the power window to move :) Still you live with the issues for the fun.
This one is super clean I'm really surprised it was only $6k and he just put $2k in to it to have a bunch of services done. Brakes, rotors all fluid flush, alignment etc. Can't beat it and it will keep my green baby out of the bad weather.
It has 69k on it so I'll probably run with it until next summer and then probably replace the timing chain and clutch they're known for the timing chain issue. But so far it's pretty quiet so I don't think the guides are shot yet.

Yeah that's what the wife and I thought.. Not a scratch on it or imperfection inside or out. With the exception of some curb rash on the rims not a big deal.

picked up some new rims and tires for the beater. Man what a difference a little more side wall makes. Now this is my perfect commuter it still handles great with these 16"s
but makes such a difference in ride quality. I know everyone is going with big rims but man I'm loving downsizing for lighter rims and a better ride.
