- 2024 Golf R
Hello everyone!
I just picked up a new Lapiz Blue 2024 Golf R DSG. After a lengthy and at times frustrating search, I was able to purchase one at MSRP! I live at the Jersey Shore and ended up driving about 90-minutes to a dealership outside of Philadelphia. They were very good to deal with and did not try to add-on anything. I picked up the car on 1/12/24, and thus far love it. I came out of a lease on a 2021 BMW M340i xDrive. Even though the M340 is a beast, I was looking for something smaller, more nimble, and fun. I am pleased that I didn't give up much with the Golf R in terms of features. However, after only 24 hours, I must say, the tech interface and user experience in the Golf R is not as good as the BMW.
I have an appointment on Monday to have PPF installed on the front of the car and will be having tint and ceramic coating done over the next month.
